Memorable landscapes stiched together



Sometimes one photograph is not enough to capture the whole view of a certain scene. In that case, I capture consecutive pictures with the camera and then I stitch them together. The results are not always perfect (sometimes you notice the seams), but the final expansive photographs are usually breathtaking.

Volos, Greece

A beautiful panorma of the city of Volos in central Greece, captured from the village of Portaria in the Pelio mountain nearby.

 

 

Los Angeles, California

A megapanorama resulting by stiching 20 pictures together taken from the top of the Grove parking structure in central LA. Among the places that can be seen: Bel Air, Hollywood Hills, Holywood Sign, Downtown LA.

 

Paris, France

An almost 360 degree panorama of the π-shaped Louvre Museum. The visible length of the building, a former royal palace, is around 1.5 km.

 

 

Vancouver, Canada

This is Capilano, a long suspension bridge that connects the two sides of the forest separated by a river and sharp cliffs.

 

 

Yosemite, California

The first time you stare at Yosemite Valley it's just amazing - it's as if you are transferred millions of years in the past when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
